Featured Vendor: Andy King Photography

Drum roll please...today's featured vendor is ANDY KING of Andy King Photography. Some of you may recognize the name from my own wedding and today is all about Andy. I met Andy back in 2008 at a wedding we were both working on and instantly fell in love with his work. Each time I see a montage of photos from him I tear up because they are always so beautiful. Beauty is not the only thing he brings to your wedding, he brings is amazing personality. Andy is fun, full of laughs and makes everyone have such a wonderful time while taking pictures. I have worked with many of other photographers over the years and it is so important to have someone with a great personality. Think about it, on your wedding day, the photographer is the one vendor and maybe person that you will spend the most amount of time with. Not only will he or she be spending time with you but with every one of your guests, it is so important to have someone who connects with each person. Andy really does connect with everyone and I always hear great things about him. Oh one more thing, Andy was chosen as San Diego's #1 photographer on Channel 10's A-List!

Well enough of my raves, you check him out for yourself. Here is a recent "Trash the Dress" session he did in Joshua Tree...

This gorgeous picture is of the beautiful Tenaya, look at those eyes, and the picture was taken by Lisa Sullivan of Sullivan Studios. I can't wait for you to see the rest of the wedding.

This weekend I will be getting ready for the San Diego Bridal Bazaar so if you happen to be going come check us out, booth 444.

Tomorrow I will be featuring another one of my favorite vendors...but I am not telling who yet. All I will say is 3 words...FUN, GORGEOUS, #1!!!

Featured Vendor: Courtney Tibbets of After the Engagement

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Today I am pleased and very excited to introduce you to Courtney Tibbets of After the Engagement, a local wedding coordinator here in San Diego. Courtney and I have completed a few weddings together and she is an absolute pleasure to work with. Our most recent wedding being Sally and Davids wedding back in November and we will also we working together this coming Saturday so stay tuned for those photos as well.

Courtney is such a great addition to any wedding because she ensures that your day is stress free and that your only worry is to be pampered. As a florist I really believe that having a "Day-of" coordinator is essential to the perfect flow of your perfect day. It is so important to make sure that all your vendors are scheduled for delivery at the proper times and that minor changes in details will be handled calmly and with extra care. Courtney is the perfect person to handle all of those details for you, she is my number one pick for coordination and I hope that everyone will check her out. Here is just a few shots from one of her most recent weddings...

See more of these great photos at Heidi O Photo.

Here is a little quote from Courtney about working on this gorgeous wedding...
"The Prado is one of my favorite venues to work- it is beautiful, and there are so many photo opportunities nearby. I loved coordinating Adriana and Justin's wedding- they had a very small guest list, which allowed for an intimate feel. I am also always honored when I am chosen by someone in the industry- Adriana works at the local venue, The Hacienda in Old Town." -Courtney Tibbets, After the Engagement

I loved the flowers at our wedding and am very glad to have found Sally. When working with her on the flowers, I really didn't know what I wanted. I knew what colors I wanted and that I liked orchids and that was about it! Sally was able to figure out something that would work well with our color scheme and wedding theme. The groom wore a kilt and Sally was able to find a matching tartan ribbon to wrap my bouquet with. It was a lovely touch! The flowers were beautiful and looked great in our photos. The flowers still looked fresh days after the wedding too. Sally was very prompt in her communication with me and very reasonably priced. I definitely recommend her services!

Just a little collage of photos from the photographer of my sisters wedding. To see more click here.

The wedding was held at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in La Jolla and the reception was just down the street at The Darlington House. Catering was California Cuisine, my favorite and the cake was by Mark at San Diego Desserts.
